The stallions of the past that led to his own birth through combined genetics are resting inside his head, though he has yet to truly understand what that means. To Antebellum, they are just endless whisperings that he can't quite make out as he has yet to fully harness his own power. In the future they will come forward and speak to him as separate entities, he will be able to silence them and mold himself to the persona they had while living. That is if, he learns to control him. While many of his ancestors are there to help him, there are some whom had rather have a second chance at their own life. Only time will tell if Antebellum can be strong enough to become the puppet master, or allow himself to be another puppet.
Description: teehee ; numero two
History: Antebellum is young, though already he has had a rather rough childhood. At birth he was born with two beautiful white wings, the feathers tipped in gold with a few gold plumes intertwined. He was the son of the king and queen of the herd, whom instead of being proud of their sun and the interesting way he was born, they grew fearful of how he would be looked upon. They feared that their son would be hated, and many would come to kill him. So before the child was presented at three days old they ripped off his wings, covering the wounds in brown mud to stop the bleeding and hide the scars. He had a quick presentation, only a show of his face, before telling the other members that he was sickly and couldn't come out for long. At one month old the herd was growing impatient to see the child, the parents had been locked away with him to keep him out of sight. A mare managed to slip past the guards into the cave where the child and parents were holed up and saw the colt with the massive scars on his sides and the rotting mass of bones, feathers, and flesh. She was able to put the two together, and returned to the herd, telling them of the deformed child and what the parents had done. They rushed to the keep, his parents using a back exit to escape with their son reaching the open air and telling him to run without stopping. They promised that they would soon be behind him. The colt ran, not stopping or looking back until he heard the scream from his parents. The herd had caught them, and being of the superstitious sort, fed in fear by their own woven stories, killed the parents for creating such a thing - then unheard of in their lands. Antebellum turned and kept running, escaping to the lands of Nevermourne after a journey of weeks. The land healed his wounds, but the scars would remain, forever a reminder of the fate he had escaped.
