KYNARETH
Thought you said this would never hurt
Kindred soul begin to wander about the lands of Nevermourne, getting to know the vast area. All it's scents and sounds, the others whom wandered about. Silver diamonds made soft and dainty steps, careful not to disturb the wildlife in any way. Tender and kind she was, always thinking of other things other than herself. Metallic azure body weaved this way and that and at the sight of snow, a shrill cry of joy came from the small woman's mouth. She snorted, shaking her head and allowing her body to leap forward. Lean and lithe legs outstretched, greedily eating up air and then touching the ground with a triumphant thump. Not really a thud since she was small in comparison to the others she had seen. Kynareth was a gentle soul, not one to be loud in anything she did.
Her thin silver chains hung over the flesh of her nape and chest, giving her a regal look. She sent her snout into the soft powder, moving it around. She lifted her crystal adorned skull and allowed salmon colored eyes to glance around the lands. This place was one she would cherish, seeming to be the one place with snow. She had wandered around for hours, as per her usual way of burning time. Curly mane and tail shone bright blue in the sun, yet black in the shadows. Flicking her long forelock over allowed for any to see the small stars and dots of alabaster, a cluster of them were by her jawline and cheek. They traveled down her neck and diminished as they went more down. Thick tail lifted to attempt to keep it off the ground but was futile as it still touched the snow. No matter, she was in her element and she was happy.
She continued to wander about the snow, lifting her limbs high off the ground and occasionally leaping over a fallen log. She had not gotten the chance to practice her gift as of late, and she wondered if she still possessed the powers she had seen. She continued to head north, noticing the snow begin to be a bit deeper. She angled her body this way and that, careful not to fall into a hole covered by the white blanket. As the sun hid within the clouds, the crystals upon her head and base of her tail begin to glow a soft blue as well as her hooves. She smiled as she took notice of them, she had only seen the ones on her head in reflections but even then she admired their beauty. Never melting ice sculpture she told herself.
She begin to work up a sweat, her hair making her hotter than what she really was. She huffed and continued to work her way up the slope, determined to reach the end of this snowy path. A few more well calculated leaps here and there and the small arabian ice princess found herself nearing the top. She stopped just a few feet from her destination, breathing steadily and turning her dished dial back to gaze over the way she had came. She had made perfect time, considering the fact that she had started from the bottom. Turning her head back to the front she heaved off again and soon was at the top of this mountain. What she saw took her breath away - she could make out other small hills covered in snow, faint fog that passed through the valleys between them. What a view! And there she stood, watching as the sun begin to set, setting fire to the white scenery.
The white reflected the yellow, orange, purple and faint reds of the sunset. Such a beautiful and serence place it was. She sighed out content as the soft breeze that came with being on the mountain top begin to play with her hair, like a lover would. She closed her eyes, inhaling the sweet scent of her success. She was home, finally. Ears twitched as she thought she heard the sound of another, but she would not let that ruin her moment in glorious satisfaction of what she had done here today. Another sound and the ice princess' eyes snapped open and she turned her delicate head to the path she had come up from. "Is anyone there?" She called out in her angelic tones, raising an invisible brow. Side stepping lightly she now faced the path to the valley.
That's what it did
that is all
