ARE YOU GOING TO BE ACTIVE? Of course.
WHY DO YOU PERSONALLY THINK YOUR CHARACTER SHOULD GET THE SPOT? He's young and untried in the whole mess of ruling a land but I feel as if he could grow in quite well to the spot. He doesn't look like a typical neutral - really, he looks like some demon spawn, and that's where a portion of his power would lie. He looks like someone who would be a fierce competitor - it deters many from a direct challenge to him. He's one to rule with an iron hoof. He wouldn't try to go out and kill those who he dislikes per se, but he will lay out his feelings about them in the open, and work to get what he wants. He can be sneaky, he's not beyond wronging a few people for the safety of his kingdom. He's also a just ruler. He'll dole punishment out as needed, no more or no less. In truth, I believe that he would be an interesting neutral royal because he will have to grow into the role. He's not a ruler yet, he's far from it. He left his light family because he found the lights did not accept him. He has the qualities of both of the other alliance. The sneaky, ruthless demeanor of the darks (something that time has yet to draw from him) and the rational, thinking side of the lights. I could easily seem him creating loose treaties with both of the other alliances, as for which of the two he will decided to become more loyal to only time will tell. Would he lean towards his former alliance of the light kingdom, or delve to the darkness for strength?
WHAT IDEAS DO YOU HAVE? for now Novakaine just wants to meld into the role of the neutral kingdom. He's pretty set to sit back and watch the going's on between the light and dark kingdoms and start making any moves after he determines the path the lands will take. He intends to rule with some strict regulations, not denying the intermingling of the lights and darks, but wishing for his kingdom to remain outside of the general fray.

DESCRIPTION nova's body is roughly canine in shape, his chest being full while his stomach is pulled up towards his spine to make a very sleek look. his entire frame has a slight sheen to it, not very noticeable during the day though when night comes the moonlight causes him to look almost dipped in silver. his sides and face are greatly marred due to the bony outcroppings that layer over his frame - they look as if a third being other than he and his twin had been forming right over top of his own self. there is no blood around any of the bony shards, they being so deeply embedded that his own flesh preferred to begin growing over top most of the edges, looking as if the pieces were truly attached to his body. they have tried being removed, but only cause the stallion a great sense of discomfort as they are being tugged upon with no movement to the bone. His eyes are a metallic silver color, reflecting light in the dark with an ethereal glow. In fact, much of the silver on his body has this slight night luminescence, though it fades while any sunlight is in the sky.
PERSONALITY novakaine holds a great amount of conflict within himself, unwilling to steep himself completely in the darkness though knowing that the light is not where he belongs. his deformities make him belong to the neutral alliance, preferring how the people view him rather than the accusations and stares that the lights give his less than proper appearance. still, he remains loyal to his family, especially his sister - he cares a great deal for her well being and will go out of his way to ensure both her safety and happiness.
RP EXAMPLE

The sinister beast stood alone in one of the darker rooms of the grey castle lost amongst his own thoughts. He was not beyond showing the disgust he had of the tensions between the two other kingdoms, the gentle murmurs of a dark rebellion had been coming for weeks now with no movement shown. He was growing impatient with the endless waiting. The lack of progress in either the solidfying of the dark-light treaty or it's utter ruin through a rebellion was driving the bone king mad - what was taking so long? He thrived on the action of the two kingdoms, better them beat each other down and allow his own kingdom to rise to the forefront; he would gladly scoop up the shattered pieces of a fallen kingdom. His own members had been looking to him, asking him questions as to what should be done. He wasn't stupid, he had heard the rumors within his own kingdom - such a young, untested ruler he was. He could easily drive the kingdom to it's on ruin on his own. Of course, he had no such plans. Novakaine was young, but he had lived on both sides of his alliance. He knew what each side was thinking right now and he knew how to avoid the inclusion of his own kingdom into the battle. He would become a strict leader, he would teach his people to fear him, and he would teach the world to fear the neutral kingdom. He just had to bide his time and wait.

The quick step on the hard stone caused him to turn away from the window overlook, the sun was just beginning to coat the land in it's warmth, and it casted long shadows upon the visitor. The bay beast was many years older than he, riddled with scars and a smirk plastered across his lips. Novakaine eyed him carefully, unsure whether the stallion was smirking at the young buck out of comtempt or amusement. It was no matter, he was king. There was nothing to be said anymore. "My King, your presence has been requested in the courtyard." An interesting development, though one he had been expecting. He had sent the few members of the royal kingdom out to collect any and all those of the neutral alliance and call them forth to the kingdom to meet their new ruler. He moved to follow the bay's retreating form, weaving his way through the castle hallways until he escaped to the fresh air of a beautiful spring morning.

He was immediately assaulted by the whispers of many voices, all of them remarking at the young age and interesting appearance of the king. Yes, of course, he was prepared for this. The rumors had spread yet had not been taken as true, now they saw, and they believed. He grinned beneath his bony mass, stepping forward into the middle of the courtyard with his head held high, staring to the edges where three other stallions and a mare stood. He had to tilt his head sideways so they could have a proper look at him, bone plates and horns standing a stark white in all their glory. "Yes?" They obviously wished to talk to him, they stood apart from the rest of the group, which had ringed the courtyard nearly three deep. "What makes it your right to rule, child? You come here with no story to be stated, no battles won. When King Tuck died it should have been his child to take the throne!" Novakaine chuckled softly, looking at the white stud that had so blatantly spoken his mind, bringing a chorus of nods and sounds of agreement echoed around the stone walls. "Where is this child then? Will one step forward to face me and reclaim his father's throne?" Maybe it was his appearance that put fear into the hearts of those around him, but nobody moved. Novakaine laughed aloud now, striding forward to stand before the pallid brute. "It doesn't seem like there are any takers." Novakaine swung the sharp horn on the end of his skull, catching the stallion on the left cheek and ripping through the fragile flesh there. It was not a deep cut, but it caused the stallion to snarl in pain and surprise. "You shall address me as my king when you are speaking to me." He looked about at the gathered group, watched as their eyes shifted from his frame to the floor. They feared him on appearance alone, though he was truly not one to be afraid of if address properly. "I am your king. From now until the day I die. You will either bow to me, or remove yourself from my sight indefinitely." There was a moments pause where his young heart had a tremor of doubt, until one by one his subjects dipped their heads to the floor. The last one to stand upright was the pallid stallion, who gave him a look of defeat before lowering his head to brush the ground. The rebellion in the neutral kingdom was squashed, and Novakaine stood as king.

WHY DO YOU PERSONALLY THINK YOUR CHARACTER SHOULD GET THE SPOT? Ren gives something most don't offer. Cruelty and manipulation with a level head. He is more than willing to be patient and wait for the right moment, he isn't the type to rush into things blindly, he thinks things through. He has a 'its my way or the highway' mentality and he sticks by it. So I think he offers something unique to the site as far as leaders go, I also think with his young but moderately experienced way, he would be great for the spot. It is something he is slightly grown into already, but he has a long way to go and a lot of learning to do. He is not the most experienced, but he is more than capable of handling the responsibility.

WHAT IDEAS DO YOU HAVE? I'd like Ren and all of the darks meet and get a feel for each other. Meetings with the darks will be a fun filled adventure of capture the lights, stealing children, and harrassing the lights and some of the neutrals in any way shape or form, the winner will get a special prize from Ren. As far as the possibility of War goes, it is a give in with his plans of abuse and violence, as well as his games of stealing and traumatizing everyone else. He knows this.

DESCRIPTION
eye color- amber green-think of a reptile.
Ren is a big horse, standing at 17 hands tall, but it is not just his height that makes him large, it is also his bone structure. He is a very big boned stallion, capable of relatively agile movement, but make no mistake, he is not the quick and lithe Arabian or thoroughbred. He is not as heavy and cumbersome as a pure bred draft, but he is not much quicker. It is obvious that what he loses in agility, he makes up for in strength, he is a very strong stallion and it is clear in his muscle definition. He has a very soft coloring to him, with his mane and tail being a deep black his legs is also this deep black, while the rest of him is a lightly dappled buckskin color.

If that were not enough to convince someone that he was a strong and battle capable horse, Ren has a random array of scars across his body, some long and deep and others are just rough scrapes that the hair has refused to grow over. These scars do not hinder his attractive appearance; in fact, it makes him seem more capable and worthy of a mare’s attention. Obviously he can defend himself and that naturally means he can protect others. Of course, when he is in his manipulative character facades he does seem like the protective and caring type, but really he could care less for the safety of anyone outside his herd and even those within, they get only limited protection from him.

As far as extra features and markings go, he has two arched horns, similar to a unicorn, only two and arched upward in a hook. They match his colors, with the overall color being black with golden ridges. He has a rather interesting trail of black swirls on his right fore leg making him distinctive, but the rest of him is natural.

PERSONALITY
Manipulative- Ren has this way of seeing the ‘big picture’ and has an exceptional way of reading others and persuading them to do what he wants, if he feels he cannot persuade them, he tricks them into thinking they are a step ahead of his plan. He is a very clever stallion and he uses every bit of his brain as well as his brawn. He has no problem playing the charming stranger, or the protective one, he can play whatever part is needed to achieve his goal.

Determined- He does not give up nor does he give way to anyone, but his patience can make it seem like he has given up. He is very stubborn in this way though; once he does commit to something there is no turning back for him. He is not so stubborn to not see reason, although convincing him he is wrong takes a lot of proof and even more time.

Intelligent- He is not a mindless savage,he is very smart and creative and he uses this to his advantage every chance he gets. He may not be a horse of many words but when he does choose to speak he commands attention with his voice and his words. He may seem savage and mindless- and he is more than happy to let you keep thinking that, but he is quite the opposite.

Cold- The real Ren is rather indifferent and cold towards others, he is not friendly and does not enjoy jovial conversation with anyone, but he can certainly pretend to be. He does pick up on others feelings, but unless he has a motive he does not care and will happily stomp on anyone’s feelings.

Violent- Going with the cold nature, he tends to be quite violent. Those in his herd must be able to tolerate sharp bites and kicks as well as words because his normal behavior tends to be harmful to whoever is around him. There is not a creature in the world that can escape his wrath when he puts his mind to it. Those not in his herd receive even harsher behavior from him, from beatings to rape to murder, he will do whatever he wants and there isn’t much that anyone can do to stop him. It is wise to remember that he is a manipulative monster and his violent ways are more than just physical, this also goes for emotional and mental violence. He will steal away all that is sacred to someone- just for kicks.

Arrogant- Ren tends to be arrogant, but his arrogance is rightly earned, he is a powerful horse, he is very intelligent and perceptive, but even he has his flaws, and this- this is by far his biggest down fall, he is far too arrogant for his own good.


Quiet- Ren is a very quiet creature, he isn’t one for pointless conversations and he isn’t one to speak quickly in a verbal debate, he tends to let others dig their own grave and he will gladly be the one to bury them. Perhaps it is because of his quiet nature that when he does speak he appears wise and powerful.


RP EXAMPLE The castle was gloomy. The sun barely touched it a fleeting grace for those that wanted a bit of warmth on their backs. The plants a dark, rich, green, they too seemed black in color. As we stared up at the fortress tucked snuggly into the rocky mountain wall, he wondered if it too was really a green color or if it was truly black. Such thoughts perplexed the stallion, although useless, they kept him entertained when moments were dull. Of course, today was not dull; he could hear the voices as he approached the entrance to his home. His ears flicked forward, listening as he approached quietly, and hooves creating a soft thud on the soil. The sound quickly turned into a sharp clapping noise as the soil turned to stone and he entered his domain.

The voices grew soft and urgent. The sound was one of nervous excitement. Why had he summoned the entirety of his kingdom to the Onyx Keep? It was time to put a face to the name and the tyrant was nearly giddy with his own excitement. There were many plans swirling about in his head but only the strong and obedient would be worthy of such plans. As he approached the mass of bodies, the voices hushed further into silence. All eyes slowly turned to him. A quiet smirk pulled at his lips, he could get used to this, yes, yes he could. The rather young, battle proven stallion quietly passed them, head held high, looking down to most of them. His reptilian stare flicked from one horse to another, he could feel their judging gaze on him. Who was he to be King? Two horns, a tribal swirl on his leg, he was not one of them with there grotesque and somewhat mutated forms. He was different. Where they were hideous, he was beautiful. His coat was well groomed, his mane and tail untangled and well kept.

When he had passed them all, he ascended the stairs that held a chair, something he had no intention of even trying to sit in, but the steps elevated him for all to see, for all to look upon him and judge him. It worked both ways and as he faced them his stare turned sharp and penetrating. His eyes roamed over the crowd, packed body against body in the grand space. His ears fleetingly flicked back before going forward once more, there were several that were scrawny and weak, their bones showing, their eyes dull. “In one week’s time, there will be another gathering, a challenge of sorts. I will test your strength, your mentality, your loyalty. Your tasks? Oh they are a surprise, and your prize? It is to stay here.” He paused, noticing the looks of interest and worry. “Any who cannot pass will be forced to leave not just the Onyx Keep, but the lands I rule entirely. Go somewhere where generosity will be granted. Here there is none.” His tones were firm, filled with a no nonsense attitude. He would not tolerate beggars and weaklings.

Letting it sink in, his tongue pressed against the roof of his mouth in his own method of patience. “You.” His eyes became fixated on a colt. “Come here.” The mother tensed, shifting to halt the boy, but Renier stomped a hoof, the sound echoing in the grand room. Bodies stilled, and gazes drifted to the mother, whose head bowed before shuffling aside. Hesitant, the colt drew near, eyes staring nervously up at the King. “Sir?” The voice was quiet, respectful. Ren dipped his head in approval. Ren circled the boy, brushing against him, causing the boy to stumble forward. He chuckled quietly at this, giddy with excitement. “You seem strong, able..” He mused aloud.“Y-yes sir.” The colt shifted, a bit of confidence returning. “You love your mother, yes?” He questioned, moving in front of the boy again. The colt nodded, remaining silent. Ren smirked, bending to whisper in his ear. “You are mine, but for now, run back to that whore. Be ready for your challenge.” With those quiet, mysterious words, Ren shifted, head dipping lower so that his first spike brushed against the boy and the second poked. He gave a nudge, and the boy squealed. A gash left on his neck, the boy retreated to his mother, who glared silently.

“You know who I am, you know what I expect. Leave. Now.” With that, the King turned and left them. He had achieved his goal. He had shown them who he was; he had explained his expectation…or at least one of them. He had marked his newest property and now it was time they go back to their lands, before the filth became contagious and the grime decided to stay.

WHY DO YOU PERSONALLY THINK YOUR CHARACTER SHOULD GET THE SPOT? Kynareth is a gentle soul, but she can be stern when she needs to be. I find her the perfect balance of good and evil. Her appearance makes her seem weak, but she is anything but.
WHAT IDEAS DO YOU HAVE? Kynareth wants her alignment to be strong and a force to reckon with, however, she knows that with the angst between the light and dark kingdoms that it can never be done. She wishes to gain an allie-ship with the two kingdoms, and not rule in peace, but in a sort of toleration of one another. She knows that peace is something that can never fully be gained. She wants the neutrals to be respected and to be left alone.

DESCRIPTION 14.2 hands, lithe and delicate arabian body. Opal silver blue in coloration. Long curly mane and tail of dark blue, almost blank. Crystal shaped un-meltable ice shards form form her head and base of her tail. She has salmon colored eyed with a striking blue pupil. Thin silver chain wraps around her neck, draping over her front limbs. Faint white dots and stars form upon her face, more prominent around her cheeks and jawline. They travel down her nape and disappear. A single sapphire is adorned between her eyes.
PERSONALITY Despite her size, Kyne is not as fragile as she appears. She has a strong will. She has a soft and sultry voice, which is insight to her soul. She is not able to cause harm to another creature. She fears abandonment more so than anything else in her life. Her past haunts her every time she meets someone. Shy for split second upon meeting a stranger, but it quickly wears off. She is extremely reserved, not one to exploit herself or go out of her way to prove a point. Kindred spirit and a nature lover, she prefers to be alone in the wilderness than to bother with the hustle and bustle of a herd. No matter how much she denies it, deep down she is a die hard romantic - wishing for her happily ever after. Humble and very modest, she would rather shine the spot light on another rather than herself. Kyne prefers colder climates as opposed to hotter ones. Her amount of hair keeps her warm. Extremely tentative to any task at hand, she won't give up on something so quickly. Stubborn like a child, if she feels she is right she will continue to believe that she is. She secretly wishes every night to the Gods that they would place someone in her path so she won't be so lonely. A true optimist, even in the face of sheer defeat.
